Welcome

Kitschy began on a summer afternoon when Rebecca and Lisa browsed through an estate sale. They bought a beautiful piece of furniture together and started a business that day! Antiqueing, Thrifting, Flea Markets...that's what they do! They search for one of a kind flea market finds, estate sale treasures, and garage sale fixer uppers. They do the rigorous leg work for you and put in the hours of elbow grease needed to refinish a piece of furniture. (They also pick up lots of fun trinkets, bric brac and artwork along the way!) They have a year round booth that is packed full of inventory at The Parker Shoppes. They also participate in the Paris Street Market May thru October where you are sure to find a one-of-a-kind piece no matter how big or small!

August brings lots of retro color and funk!

A Paris Street Market August show proved to be another hot Colorado day!  But that did not keep the people from coming.  We had a great day and had lots of fun talking with our regulars that never miss a show.  We love them!!!This funky retro green couch was a hit!!  Many stoppped to take a rest on it.

We still love turquoise and probably always will.  So bright and happy!!

Rebecca even found a vintage turquoise ashtray.  I should probably make a disclaimer here that Kitschy does not endorse smoking.  It's bad for you.  It could, however, be fashioned into a jewelry tray!  Check out the old phone stand with chair attached.

 We gots to have METAL!!!!

Silver never ages....ohhh we love it.  Especially unvarnished.

It's not very often that we remember to do BEFORE/AFTER photos.  But we managed to do it for this antique dresser with mirror.  I am thinking about keeping this one.

A Paris Street Market was a success and once we finish a show there we move everything into our booth #303 KITSCHY at The Parker Shoppes in Parker, CO.
We still had the green couch.  One would have to have some guts to purchase such a crazy piece and we are confident that person is out there somewhere!! How about for an office?  How cool would that be?

Fabric and burlap roses are always available
LOVE this very old case.  Wonder what it was used for?  Obviously it was used alot with such lovely wear and tear.

Beautiful buffett!   We thought it would be a great entertainment center.

Too early to pull out the Halloween decor?  No way.  We started a spooky corner but BEWARE....we will be adding much more frightening frolics every week!!
